JACK HAMMER (Medium)

I really didn't know what to expect from a Robusta coffee. In the past, every coffee I'd had with even a small portion of Robusta tasted like what burning rubber smells like. The Jackhammer coffee had none of that. In fact, it doesn't even have much of a roasty or smokey flavor at all, nor does it taste any stronger than what I normally get from any of the local roasters in my area. It's a light medium roast coffee, and that's what it tastes like. The extra caffeine, as far as I can tell, doesn't affect the flavor much, if at all.

Saying that, I can certainly taste a difference in the flavor profile. If you didn't know it isn't Arabica, the flavor wouldn't give that away. But it's not just a generic "coffee" flavor for sure. If you're accustomed to drinking specialty coffee from a decent roaster, you might guess that Jackhammer is a single origin coffee. It isn't that, but it has a unique taste from the origin coffees used in the blend. I think Working Joe's did a great job producing this fine coffee, and I can't really say anything bad about it.

Jackhammer is my favorite out of all of the flavors I have tried! Very smooth and gives you the extra boost needed!
